This privacy policy sets out how Shop Rite Inc./Tobacco Plus Inc. and/or its affiliates and subsidiaries (“Company”) uses and protects your Personal Information (as defined hereinbelow) that you provide Company.  Please read this policy carefully.


Company is committed to protecting your privacy.  You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any information about yourself, but sometimes we do need the information to provide the services that you request.  This privacy statement explains Company’s data collection and uses in those situations.

Company has a firm policy of protecting the Personal Information of our customers.  “Personal Information” is personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, home address, email address, and telephone number.  Personal Data does not include “aggregated” or “de-identified” information that does not specifically identify an individual.  Personal Information is only shared with your consent except for the specific purposes below, in accordance with all applicable laws.


What We Collect

We may collect Personal Information that you choose to provide to us on a voluntary basis.  When we ask for your Personal Information, it is so we can provide a product or service to you and communicate with you about those products and services.  For example, you can enroll and use the Beaucoup Rewards Program, and/or Gator Gas Debit Card (the “Programs”) by providing us with Personal Information.  We may also operate a version of our website specifically designed to work with mobile devices.  The mobile website or application may include a feature that uses geographic location information provided by your mobile device to identify stores in your vicinity.

Our website provides information about our stores, the Programs, and the products we sell.  You do not need to provide us with any Personal Information if you simply want to browse through our website and learn more about our stores, our products, and our services.  Like many other websites, we may record information that your web browser routinely shares, such as your browser type, browser language, software and hardware attributes, the date and time of your visit, the website from which you came, the geographical location of the Internet Protocol address and the pages on the site that you visit.  This will generally be anonymous data that we collect on an aggregate basis, which does not identify an individual.  By using the site, you consent to the collection and use of this type of information.

In addition, we and our third-party partners and service providers may use various tracking technologies, including cookies, tracking pixels, and web beacons to collect information about you when you interact with our site, including information about your browsing and purchasing behavior.  Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory.  Cookies help us improve the functionality and performance of our site and mobile applications, your user experience, and your convenience.  Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in the sites or emails and help deliver cookies, count visits, and test and understand usage and campaign effectiveness.  We may also allow third parties to set cookies in order to help us manage and analyze the performance of the site and mobile applications, to display ads and offer promotions that we think are most relevant to you, to help us learn about our audience and how people use the site and mobile applications, and the Programs, and to link your activity on the site and mobile applications.  The information collected may include: the type of device; your operating system; your browser; your internet service provider; your domain name; your internet protocol (IP) address; the date and time that you accessed our site, the mobile application, or participated in the Programs; the website that referred you to our site; the web pages you requested; the date and time of those requests; and the subject of the ads you click or scroll over.  Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you may set your browser to decline cookies.  If you do so, however, you may not be able to fully experience some features of the site, the mobile application, and the Programs.

What We Do With The Information We Gather

We may use your Personal Information for various purposes, including, without limitations, to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve our site, mobile application or Programs; (b) send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, support and administrative messages; (c) respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and to provide customer service; (d) communicate with you about the Programs, products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events offered by our Company; (e) monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our site, mobile application and Programs; (f) detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of the Company; (g) facilitate contests, sweepstakes and promotions and process and deliver entries and rewards; (h) maintain appropriate records for internal administrative purposes; (i) in response to requests from local, state, provincial or federal law enforcement officials, any judicial, administrative or similar proceeding or order, such as a subpoena, if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by any applicable law; (j) with vendors, sponsors, and fulfillment partners that help us administer our Programs; (k) in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company; and (l) carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected or permitted by law.



The security of your Personal Information is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.  While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  There is always a risk that information collected and/or displayed may be compromised or accessed notwithstanding the steps we take to secure your information.  For example, a third party may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or other users may abuse or misuse your Personal Information.  Accordingly, you agree that you are providing such information at your own risk.

Furthermore, the Company will not be liable for disclosures of your Personal Information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.  We have undertaken commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized Internet access to visitor data retained in our servers, however, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, the Company cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, or any information provided online, and you do so at your own risk.  Users must accept all risks associated with any data transmission, including the risk that their Personal Information may be intercepted in transit.

Moreover, Company does not control information collected by third parties and, as such, shall not be responsible for the collection, usage, and disclosure policies and practices (including the data security practices) of third parties.  The inclusion of a link on Company’s website or mobile application does not imply Company’s endorsement of the linked site or service.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify, amend or alter this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, at any time.  You should periodically review this Privacy Policy to ensure you are familiar with the most current version.  Your use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
